Rename the new page template. Here I used ‘The New Page‘ to save it to the page library. Hit on the SAVE button to save a copy of this page to My Templates.

Step 2. Import the Template into a New Page

Go to your WordPress site admin panel and visit Pages -> Add New. Give a suitable title to the new page and start editing with Elementor.

Scroll down a bit to discover the drag and drop section of the page editor. Choose the Folder icon and click on it.

The Folder icon will lead you to your Elementor library comprising Blocks, Pages, and My Templates menu. Select My Templates and you’ll get the saved templates there. Click on the Insert button placed next to the page you want to duplicate.

A new page will be created once you’re done with all the above steps.

Step 3. Add the Template to a Different Website

You can even import a duplicate page template to another website that uses Elementor website builder.

Go to Templates -> Saved Templates and click on Export Template (1). This will download the template as a JSON file. Then go to the target website where you want to duplicate this page and visit Templates -> Saved Templates from the admin sidebar. Click on the Import Templates(2) button and choose the template from your computer.

Thus, you can copy a particular page across multiple domains. But, make sure that all the websites in question are using Elementor. These functionalities aren’t available for websites that don’t have Elementor installed in their ecosystem.

Step 4. Copy And Paste All Content in the Drag Widget Section

Other than saving the original page as a template, you can make a copy of it in a different method. Go to your Elementor page editor and scroll down to the drag and drop section. Right-click inside the box, a few options will pop up instantly. Click on Copy All Content.

You’ll see the Paste option. Choose that and paste all the copied content from the last step. Now your new page is ready.

WordPress block editor has a default copy-paste functionality that can copy all content of a page. This is inconvenient as you can duplicate only the content without metadata, SEO information, category, and tag settings. You have to add these things manually in this case.

However, if you still want to duplicate a page in WordPress, follow the below steps.

  • Step 1. Copy all Content
